Ana leads EngenderHealth’s AYSRHR global portfolio and supports the integration of gender, youth and social inclusion into everything EngenderHealth does. Ana strives to ensure that EngenderHealth implements high-quality sexual and reproductive health programming and meaningfully engages with adolescents and youth across the organization’s programs, structures, and processes. Ana’s lived experiences as a young SRHR advocate drive her passion to unlock the potential of all young people. Ana holds a Bachelors of Arts from Boston University and a Masters of Public Health from the Boston University School of Public Health.

Anshu (she/her/hers) is public health practitioner with more than 21 years of work experience at the sub-national, national and global level on maternal, child and adolescent health and well-being issues. Trained in business management and public health, prior to PMNCH, she worked with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, where she developed and led the implementation of a multi-sectoral programme for one of the largest cohort of adolescent population in the world. Anshu also served as the Advisor, International Partnership to the Government of India. At PMNCH she leads on Partner Engagement including political engagement and advocacy. Anshu is also responsible for PMNCH`s adolescent well-being workstream and leads the Call to Action for Adolescents.

 Franklin (BSc in Microbiology, MA in Social Work) joined the Restless Development in 2011, and as part of his role he provides technical leadership and support to project and partner staff in India and Africa in planning and implementing M&E systems and activities, data-based program decision-making, and results reporting.  Franklin is also efficient trainer and is part of the international capacity building team of Restless Development  for youth-led NGOs on ‘Integrating tech into MEL Systems’ and on ‘Meaningful Youth Engagement’.  Franklin is a recipient of various awards and recognitions including ‘Youth Campion’ 2015 from Rise Up and Public Health Institute, ‘Young Leader’ with Women Deliver and ‘World Contraception Advisor’ 2016-2017.

Linda Weisert leads CIFF’s global gender diplomacy work, including CIFF’s co-leadership of the Generation Equality Action Coalition on Bodily Autonomy & SRHR, and oversees the foundation’s approach and learning agenda for partnering with young leaders and movements. She also oversees the coordination and implementation of a new cross-organisational programme, focused on mainstreaming diversity, equity and inclusion across CIFF’s operations, grant-making and partnerships. Linda has worked in Global Health, International t=Trade and development issues for more than 15 years, advising multilateral institutions, foundations, civil society organisations and Fortune 500 companies on strategic advocacy and communications. Linda has a Master’s Degree in International Relations from the London School of Economics and a Bachelor’s Degree in European and French Politics from King’s College London and Sciences Po Paris. A German and Algerian national, she is fluent in German, French, English and Spanish.

Miranda, PhD, is a medical anthropologist with a key interest in adolescent sexuality. Her role at Rutgers is to use research to increase understanding of the needs and realities of adolescents and young people in relation to sexuality; to study how interventions work; and to use research for evidence based advocacy and the design, improvement and scale up SRHR interventions. Central to her work is the meaningful engagement of young people as co-researchers, as she believes this is critical to get  quality data and to promote youth engagement in ‘research utilization’ such as the development and implementation of relevant, attractive and responsive programs. 

Pragya Singh (she/her), a human rights and international development professional from India, Pragya identifies as a sex-positive, pro-choice, anti-racist feminist. As a strong advocate of gender rights and access to health, she is interested in working with affected communities on issues related to Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights as well as feminist and youth leadership. Currently, she works as a Program Coordinator for CHOICE for Youth and Sexuality, a youth-led organisation based in the Netherlands, where she supports Meaningful & Inclusive Youth Participation in SRHR programming and advocates for young people’s leadership roles in decision-making spaces.  

A Development Communicator by training and holder of a Master’s degree in Gender, Population and Development, Reine is a young and dynamic women’s rights/sexual and reproductive health activist who firmly believes in the capacity of young people to be major actors in the development of their communities. She has nearly eight (08) years of experience in activism for sexual and reproductive health issues of adolescents and youth within several organizations. In November 2022, Reine joined the UCPO team as a Youth Lead and is responsible for facilitating the Youth Think Tank, a framework for reflection, consultation and sharing of good practices. Reine is also the winner of two awards for youth work and leadership, including second prize for young filmmaker in the Epop (e-participatory Observes Project) 2020 competition organized by the Institut de Recherche pour le Développement (IRD) and RFI Planète Radio, and second prize in the World Bank’s Blog4Dev 2021 competition.
