Diana Ishaqat
Strategic Communications Lead (Partnerships & Action Learning)

Diana Ishaqat is a multilingual civil society practitioner, researcher, and artist. She has nearly a decade of experience across the EMEA region, working in education, women’s rights, and civil society strengthening.
Her core expertise lies in project management and communications. She has led local and global advocacy campaigns on topics including peacebuilding, public action against crimes of “honor,” and environmentalism.
She has also directed civil society research projects on public perceptions of working women, reproductive rights, and aid localization, in partnership with regional and international organizations and universities.
As a consultant, she has worked on projects reaching more than 15 countries. A former Chevening and Schwarzman Scholar, she holds a Master’s in Media, Campaigning and Social Change from the University of Westminster and a Master’s in Global Affairs from Tsinghua University.
