She specializes in strategic communications, public relations, advocacy, project management, and resource mobilization, with a strong focus on sexual and reproductive health and rights, human rights, gender equality, and meaningful youth engagement.
Throughout her career, Natalia has led the development of funding proposals, concept notes, and donor-facing communications, coordinating cross-functional teams to secure resources for youth- and rights-based initiatives. Her experience in grant proposal development complements her communications expertise, enabling her to translate complex programmatic priorities into compelling funding opportunities and strengthen relationships with institutional and philanthropic partners.
As the founder of the Youth Wave for Latin America and the Caribbean, Natalia built and leads a regional network connecting more than 400 young advocates from 18 countries. Through this initiative, she has fostered peer learning, leadership development, and digital mobilization, empowering young people to influence policies and drive collective action on SRHR. Under her leadership, the initiative has reached more than 120,000 young people each month with evidence-based, youth-friendly information and has become a recognized platform for meaningful youth participation across the region.
Passionate about intersectionality, gender equality, and social justice, Natalia is committed to ensuring that adolescents and young people—particularly those from historically marginalized communities—have the knowledge, opportunities, and platforms to exercise their rights. She is dedicated to supporting organizations in mobilizing resources, building strategic partnerships, and advancing sustainable, high-impact programs that amplify youth leadership and drive lasting social change.
