Bleu is a young professional working in the field of sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) and youth development, with experience in community project coordination, youth engagement, and advocacy initiatives that improve young people’s access to health information and services in Côte d’Ivoire.

He has facilitated youth groups, supported awareness campaigns on family planning, gender equality, and adolescent health, and contributed to community-based initiatives that promote positive social change. As an active member of the Youth Think Tank of the Ouagadougou Partnership, Bleu contributes to strategic discussions on strengthening meaningful youth participation in SRHR policies and programmes across West Africa.

Through his professional and voluntary engagements, Bleu is committed to advancing inclusive, rights-based, and youth-centred approaches that empower young people and strengthen health systems. His work focuses on supporting impactful initiatives that enable young people to make informed decisions and access quality SRHR services without barriers.

Tushar is a visionary social entrepreneur and champion for Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) in India. Driven by a mission to dismantle systemic barriers, he founded the Annihilate the Taboo initiative to integrate vital health awareness directly into India’s rapidly growing gig economy.

When the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted global supply chains, Tushar pivoted from advocacy to localized action. He established a resilient menstrual hygiene product manufacturing unit in rural Punjab. This dual-impact venture successfully secured last-mile access to essential healthcare products while simultaneously generating sustainable livelihoods for local communities. Beyond manufacturing, Tushar’s rigorous research includes a groundbreaking youth-friendliness study of abortion services in rural Punjab, providing critical data to improve healthcare accessibility.

His transformative contributions to public health and community empowerment earned him global recognition, including the prestigious Phil Harvey SRHR Innovation Award at the International Conference on Family Planning (ICFP) 2022. Tushar continues to bridge the gap between policy and grassroots impact, driving sustainable change where it is needed most.

Julieta Zacatenco (she/her) is a youth organizer, movement builder, and nonprofit leader from Mexico. She currently serves as Co-Executive Director of the Youth Coalition for Sexual and Reproductive Rights (YCSRR), a global youth-led organization advancing bodily autonomy, gender justice, and human rights.

Her work sits at the intersection of youth leadership, feminist organizing, and systems change, with a strong focus on strengthening the sustainability and political power of youth-led organizations. She has supported organizational development processes, resource mobilization strategies, coalition-building efforts, and cross-movement collaborations connecting youth, feminist, LGBTQI+, climate, and social justice movements across the Global South.

Julieta advocates for shifting power and resources toward grassroots and youth-led actors, while building the capacities and infrastructures needed for long-term movement sustainability. She brings extensive experience in global advocacy, participatory governance, and facilitating intergenerational dialogue on equity, accountability, and transformative change.

Ipsita (she/her) is a feminist visual storyteller and communications consultant with over five years of experience working in sexual and reproductive health and rights across South Asia and the Asia Pacific region. Her work brings together research, design, and narrative strategy to translate complex social justice issues into accessible and engaging formats. She currently works as Digital Communciations Coordinator with IPPF ESEAOR.

She is also a Pleasure Fellow with The Pleasure Project, where she advocates for pleasure positive approaches within SRHR programming and discourse. Ipsita collaborates with grassroots organisations, multilateral agencies, and feminist movements to create toolkits, campaigns, and visual resources that centre agency, dignity, and lived experience. She holds a Masters in Gender and Development from Institute of Development Studies.

Evelyn is a human rights advocate and a communications professional committed to challenging dominant cultural, and religious narratives that oppress women, girls and young people. She has is a Mandela Rhodes 2024 Scholar and has a Master of Social Science and a Bachelor’s degree in journalism and media studies, and a Diploma in Public Relations.

As a young leader, Evelyn has served in various capacities championing the voices and leadership of young people at SheDecides Movement, at Africa Free of New HIV Infections (AfNHi), as (Trainer4Life) with Dance4Life Foundation, as a youth reference group with YIELD Hub and as a member of the Young Women HIV Prevention Council hosted by Coalition to Accelerate.

Evelyn also serves as a board member for youth led organisation in Kenya including, WE CARE, Champions4SDGs and The Amplifiers Youth Organization (TAYO).

She is an author and writer with several publications, and she loves reading African authored history books, running with her husband and nature walks

Guttabingi Doreen is a young Ugandan queer feminist lawyer and human rights advocate. She advocates for the human rights of criminalised minorities in Uganda particularly LGBTIQ and sex work communities through legal and policy advocacy, provision of legal aid and, community education and engagement.

Her advocacy spans across national , regional and international spaces, engaging in different multilateral spaces and navigating UN systems. She is an Emerging Leader for Change with Women Deliver, where she has been supported to start Queer Conversations Uganda, a collective that advocates for the rights of LBQT persons in Uganda through knowledge generation and dissemination. She is also a Legal, Compliance and Advocacy Officer with Alliance of Women Advocating for Change (Uganda).

Bertha Chulu is an ardent youth and adolescent health activist who firmly believes that ‘when we have adolescents and youths at the center of development, we don’t just build a better future, we build a better present. Named as a leading adolescent health activist in Zambia (2018), Bertha has been recognized for her commitment to amplifying youth voices particularly young women and girls in policy spaces.

Currently, Bertha serves as an advocacy and government engagement coordinator at Healthy Learners where she leads subnational advocacy securing government buy-in and prioritization of the School Health Program benefiting millions of Zambia’s children. As regional and global youth panelist on the MakeWay program, Bertha has worked with young people from east and southern Africa designing advocacy interventions for intersectional SRHR programming at regional and global advocacy platforms.

In 2023, Bertha participated in the development of the first ever Intersectional CSO Shadow report (VNR) for Zambia detailing the progress of the SDGs in Zambia from an intersectional and feminist perspective. She further engaged in advocacy at the UN’s high level political forum with feminists around the world. Bertha served as a Global Health Corps Fellow at Young Women in Action, where she now sits on the board as Vice Chairperson. Through the Yield Hub’s Action Learning Cycle, she steered conversations on compensating youth work and successfully changed how YWA values and compensates young people.

Pushpa Joshi is a young feminist activist from Nepal with over a decade of experience advancing Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR), adolescent sexuality, gender equality, and abortion rights. Pushpa is the co-founder of YoSHAN (Youth-led SRHR Advocacy Nepal), where she leads youth-centered feminist initiatives, and serves as Vice Chair of Loom, a feminist organization based in Kathmandu.

Her work is grounded in the pursuit of structural reform and the creation of inclusive and safer spaces, particularly for young people from marginalized communities. From grassroots organizing to national level advocacy, Pushpa centers intersectionality and feminist values in all her efforts. She also amplifies her activism through filmmaking, producing short documentaries that focus on gender justice.

Jane Shirima is an anthropologist and Gender & Development scholar based in Nairobi, Kenya. With over six years of qualitative and ethnographic research experience, her work centres on how gender, health systems, and social inequality shape lived experiences of sexual and reproductive health and rights.

She has worked across SRHR, disability-led programming, and integrated health services with institutions including the African Population and Health Research Center (APHRC), This Ability Trust, and the University of Nairobi. She is committed to research that honestly bridges policy intent and lived reality. She is an alumna of YIELD Hub’s Learning Group, through which she has continued to engage with youth-led SRHR advocacy across East Africa.

In September 2026, Jane joins the University of Amsterdam as a PhD researcher, where her doctoral project, The Social Life of Sexuality, examines erotic practices and cultural formations through feminist, postcolonial, and ethnographic traditions.
