Young people and marginalised communities are increasingly experiencing the impacts of climate change on their health, wellbeing, and access to sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR). Yet the connections between climate change and SRHR remain underexplored in policy, programming, and public discourse, despite their growing significance in communities around the world.
Through YIELD Hub’s 11th Action Learning Cycle, twelve youth-led organisations from eight countries came together to explore this intersection and examine how climate-related challenges are affecting the lives and rights of the populations they serve. Over seven months, participants reflected on emerging issues, shared evidence from their contexts, and tested practical approaches to strengthen climate-resilient and inclusive SRHR responses.
Drawing on their experiences, reflections, and collective learning, this resource presents key insights, recommendations, and promising practices to support organisations, practitioners, and advocates working to address the interconnected challenges of climate change and SRHR.
