This practical resource guide is sourced from the YIELD Hub’s third Action Learning Cycle on Finding, Engaging, and Sustaining Youth Work. It includes self-assessment tools, recommendations, and activities designed to help organisations at different levels of youth engagement.

This guide would not be possible without the commitment and contribution of the Cycle 3 member organisations who worked with us over the course of 7 months. Five organisations participated in the cycle: Annihilate the Taboo, FP2030, Gender Equality Solutions (LLC), Irise Institute East Africa, Pathfinder International, Reach A Hand Uganda, and Restless Development.

The guide is accompanied by a quiz to assess organisation’s current practices against a set of criteria, helping to identify their developmental level as either Foundational, Proficient, or Advanced. With a focus on practicality and effectiveness, this resource aims to facilitate the growth of organisations in fostering inclusive, impactful, and sustainable youth engagement.
