Somila Mjekula holds a Masters Degree in Media and Cultural Studies. Nearly a decade of her professional career was spent working with Higher Education Departments and the Education NGO sector to provide training and coaching in Programme Development, Monitoring & Evaluation, and Communications. Somila has also worked part-time as a project writer, proofreader, and editor for a university’s Education and Community Engagement departments. In her previous role, she led the Communications & Advocacy work for a national non-profit (donor organisation).
